How To: Use MaxMessenger

MaxMessenger is one of the coolest features available in your coach admin. You have the ability to text and/or e-mail your team all at once - for free! Here are some of the highlights:

• There are no limits on the number of messages you can send or the number of contacts you have. 
• Contacts can include coaches, fans, family members, boosters and more!
• You can make personalized groups to target your messages.
• The message are sent from a MaxPreps address, so they aren't sent from your personal phone number or email address.
• It's all free!

Stat Reminder for Winter 2012 Coaches

Coach - We are missing your school's stats on MaxPreps.

And it is not just us missing them. Your athletes, your fans, college coaches are more are missing the opportunity to follow your team's stats on the nation's leading high school sports website.
Good news - It is not too late to get started this season! First, login here and check that your roster and schedule are up to date.
 
Then, simply head to “Stats” and select "Enter/Edit Stats" to catch your team up and get your stats posted! Worried about time? Enter your season totals in less than 10 minutes with our 'Season to Date' option that can be found at the bottom of the 'Stats' page.

Take a look at Ponderosa basketball above, coached by the President of MaxPreps - Andy Beal. When you pick a player of the week, update your stats or post a coach note, your fans are all updated on your team's wall!

Take a minute check out all that MaxPreps has to offer you and your team this season. You won't regret it!

Poll: What is the Most Exciting Sport?

With the Super Bowl coming up in just over a week, we started discussing what the most exciting sport to watch on TV is. Personally, I think it's college basketball. Does anything top the excitement of March Madness? I don't think so. But there are some strong and differing opinions on this topic, so we want to hear from you. The fall 2012 season is now LIVE in the MaxPreps admin, meaning you should login now to update your team information for the coming year!

Once logged in, click on "Update Coaches" in the upper right hand corner to make sure your team's contacts are complete and up-to-date.

Qwixcore for Basketball

Fresh off a successful launch of Qwixcore for the 2011 high school football season, MaxPreps.com is reporting terrific results as Qwixcore scores high school basketball games across the United States. For those of you not familiar with Qwixcore (pronounced Quick-Score), it is a Web app dedicated to providing fans with live scoring updates from high school athletic events.

If you've entered stats on MaxPreps, you've started the process of getting your team the recognition they work so hard for. Now (If you haven't done so already), take it one step further by selecting a Player of the Week for your team! They will be highlighted on your team's wall and receive a patch on their roster page, which can easily be shared with college coaches, family and friends.

To pick a Player of the Week, login to your coach admin, go to 'Utilities' and select 'Player of the Week'. Also, you can check out this video on how to make your selection.
