MaxPreps and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) have teamed up again this year to promote high school softball nationwide! The NFCA is the leading association for softball coaches of all levels designed to keep you up to speed on the latest coaching techniques, softball rules, news, awards, camps and tutorial classes. Every aspect, from the application and selection process to on-field administration, is handled by the NFCA staff. Baseball/Softball Athletic Testing System (BATS) will be administered exclusively at all NFCA Administered Camps. To learn more about the BATS testing program click here.

Finally, make sure you're entering your game-by-game stats into MaxPreps by Sunday night to nominate your players for the MaxPreps/NFCA Player of the Week Award. It's an easy way to get your athletes recognized nationally! The selected athlete will recieve a letter, cerificate and patch from MaxPreps along with a written article on both the NFCA and MaxPreps websites. They will also be mentioned in our weekly Varsity Center Show. Simply enter your stats to take advantage of this great award!
Instead of putting kids at risk, especially with the outside influenced by violence and drama, it's better to have them play sports, especially baseball or softball. The moment these guys learn to love to step on the baseball plates, that would be their new addiction.
