How Do I Sign My Team Up for MaxPreps?

This is a question we get a lot from coaches and fans across the board. The cool thing is that your team is already on MaxPreps! We have nearly every high school level team on our website. However, if you are a brand new high school, please email us here and we will send you the form we need filled out to add your school.

If we already cover your high school, all that needs to be done is to get everything updated. That’s where we need you! Whether you are a coach or athletic director, statistician or volunteer, or a fan or athlete, here are the steps you can take to make sure your team is up to date and running full steam on MaxPreps.

For Coaches or Athletic Directors

Go to MaxPreps.com and click on ‘Coach Login’ in the upper right hand corner.

On step 1, you should enter your personal email address.

On step 2, you will be asked to enter a password or  to register your email if you’ve never signed up with MaxPreps before.

Tip: your password is case-sensitive!

All fields are required.

On step 3, you will enter an access code that links your team to your account. The access code is a one-time code so you don't need to worry about saving or remembering it.

You are all done! Click on the link to your team under ‘Coach Logins’ to access the administrative page for your team.

Do you coach another team? Click 'Add an Admin Account' and enter the access code. Both teams will be linked to your email address!

For Statisticians or Volunteers

The first step is for us to receive the 'okay' from your team's head coach to allow you to login and update the team on MaxPreps. This can be done by having the head coach call or e-mail us stating that you are allowed to manage the team's page. Once that is done, we will give you the access code you need and you can follow the steps above for Coaches or Athletic Directors!

For Athletes or Fans

Go to MaxPreps.com and search for your school by typing it here:

Tip: Can't find your school? Try entering the zip code.

Once on your team's wall, check and see if the schedule, roster and scores have been entered.

If anything is missing, please submit what you have to support@maxpreps.com

What if your team is all set up, but missing the stats? In that case, reach out to the head coach! It is their responsibility to update stats as MaxPreps does not enter any stats on the site. Be sure to let them know they can delegate stat entry to an assistant coach, statistician or trusted volunteer; all we need is their permission to give out access!
