Why we Love Google Chrome – Creating PDF Documents from the Web

Google Chrome is our browser of choice at MaxPreps for many reasons including the ability to save a web page as a PDF document.  Here’s how to do it:
  1. Download and install Google Chrome (it’s free!) if you don’t already have it on your computer. 
  2.  Click on the Chrome icon to access the internet.
  3. Once you are on the webpage you want to turn into a PDF document click on the wrench icon in the upper left corner and select print.
  4. The print preview screen will open where you will be able to adjust the basic settings.  Under “Destination” you want to select Print to PDF.  Then click print.
  5. A save box will open where you can choose where on your computer you would like to save the file.  You can change the name (if you would like) and click save. 
It’s that easy! Now you know how to save the printable schedule, roster or stat reports to your computer as a PDF from MaxPreps.

  4. This is a very nice feature. With the nature of my job, green printing or printing in general is one of the highest priorities. It's good to know that Google Chrome has this kind of capability so in case I need to print something from the web, all I have to do is to follow these instructions, then I'm good to go.

  6. I agree. It is one of the best ways to store important files. However, in case of confidential files and information, it is important to use encrypted cloud storage. In my case, I've been using cloud computing Bristol for quite some time now in organizing and keeping my files safe and synced.

  7. Google has one of the best online document storages. Google Docs and Google Drive are very easy to use and the platform is very neat. It sometimes slow down but at least it can assure you that no documents would be lost.

  8. I hope Google would also have an offline document management software so we could also access and organize our files when we are not connected to the internet. Integrating an online and offline storage is good.

  9. What I love about Google is their Google drive that is an effective online document storage. It is easier to manage files there and convert them to formats that I need.

  10. Come on. I've seen better than that. We actually use online document storage and it indeed makes things 100% faster! Ain't going to use anything else.
