Qwixcore for Basketball
Fresh off a successful launch of Qwixcore for the 2011 high school football season, MaxPreps.com is reporting terrific results as Qwixcore scores high school basketball games across the United States. For those of you not familiar with Qwixcore (pronounced Quick-Score), it is a Web app dedicated to providing fans with live scoring updates from high school athletic events.
After scoring 3,459 games during the 2011 high school football season, Qwixcore (maxpreps.com/qwixcore) has scored nearly 1,000 boys and girls high school basketball games in just under a month. With 21,000 boys programs and 20,000 girls programs across the high school basketball landscape in the United States, Qwixcore is on pace to easily eclipse the number of games scored during the high school football season. Since Qwixcore for high school basketball launched on Dec. 15th, MaxPreps.com has recorded 34,620 unique visitors to Qwixcore's desktop and mobile sites from rabid high school basketball fans wanting to follow all the action.
How Qwixcore works is that it publishes live updates from games with an easy-to-use interface which can be operated on any Internet connected touch screen mobile device (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry Torch) or notebook computer.
MaxPreps.com is searching for a Qwixcorer to be present at every boys and girls high school basketball game around the country. If you, or someone you know is interested in using Qwixcore, please visit www.MaxPreps.com/Qwixcore or email mobileupdates@maxpreps.com. Scorekeepers will submit live scoring information and game updates through their mobile device which will then be published to each team's profile page on MaxPreps.com and on the MaxPreps mobile site. The MaxPreps Qwixcore mobile scoring network is designed to serve students, alumni, fans, and family both in the stands and at home who want to follow all the action from their favorite team, cross-town rival, other schools in their region, or the national scene.
